Buzzba Inc. is deeply committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users and their end-customers. This Data Protection Information document is provided specifically for Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) compliance to ensure that our operations remain lawful, fair, and rigorously transparent.

Lawful Basis for Processing

We rely on the following distinct legal bases for processing personal data:

• Consent: You provide immediate and informed consent when electing to create a Buzzba Breeze account.
• Contract: The ongoing processing of information is practically necessary to provide the Buzzba Breeze SaaS platform according to the Terms of Service.
• Legitimate Interest: Processing usage metrics and diagnostic monitoring securely improves our core product stability and prevents fraudulent activities on our network.

Categories of Data Subjects

Data subjects engaged with Buzzba Breeze operations predominantly fall under two categories:

• SaaS Subscribers (Our Customers): Laundry business owners, branch managers, and daily operators establishing accounts.
• End-Customers: The local clientele of laundry businesses whose contact names and phone numbers are logged onto the platform by our customers for management purposes.

Data Processing Activities

Primary processing activities authorized by our Data Subjects include:

• User account security and management
• Order stage tracking, sorting, and reporting
• Automated SMS notification execution to end-customers
• SaaS metrics analytics to analyze feature adoptions
• Routine help-desk and customer success resolutions

Cross-Border Data Transfer

To ensure 99.9% uptime, rapid scalability, and highly secure encryption standards, Buzzba relies on world-class global cloud infrastructures such as Neon and Fly.io. As such, some data may be securely transferred and stored on servers located outside the Republic of Ghana. We ensure that stringent safeguards are in place and that the hosting partners strictly adhere to international data processing compliance standards that parallel local law.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Currently, specific inquiries concerning our ongoing compliance, your statutory rights under the Act, or privacy engineering concerns can be reliably directed to the technical team via hello@buzzba.com. We will appoint a formal DPO synchronously with team expansions as stipulated by regulatory definitions.

How to Make a Complaint

If you feel your rights under the Data Protection Act have been violated by our processes, please extend us the courtesy of contacting us first at hello@buzzba.com to seek an immediate resolution. If you believe the issue remains unresolved, you reserve the full right to lodge a formal complaint directly with the Ghana Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.org.gh).
